The seedling sale will benefit the families of the recent fire in the Village. The cash collected at the market will be disbursed by the Cahill PTA and go directly to the families that have children who attend the school. They are the Khan family and the Conklin family. Steve & Terri Massardo arrived in Saugerties 25 years ago and can’t imagine living anywhere else. As performing musicians they have contributed to several local acts including Yankee Rose, the Big River Band, and Trio Mio. As music lovers, they created the John Street Jam, a haven for songwriters and the Hudson Valley’s best listening room. July 7 — Patchwork Pachyderms — inspired by the tote bag we got from the World Wildlife Fund! The kids will cut out a plain white elephant silhouette and collage bright, patterned patches of paper on to it.
